Science Investigations

Our class carried out some Science experiments recently, under the Strand Energy and Forces.

Firstly, the girls made boats from tin foil and investigated the pushing force of water.

Secondly, the girls investigated how friction acts to stop a moving object, by using toy cars and trucks on various surfaces.

Percussion, here we go!

3rd Class got to experience various types of percussion instruments, as we played different rhythms in our groups.

Pancake Tuesday

We had great fun flipping pancakes at school,and we got to sample some too, with some yummy toppings!

February Highlights

Green Schools -MsYang gave us a fantastic presentation all about China😊 There was great excitement when MsYang gave us all a Fortune Cookie each!

One of our lovely parents also came in to tell us all about Poland. We got to hear some really interesting facts about Poland and sample some delicious goodies and treats. Thank you😊

Mrs Hyland also gave us a very good workshop about the importance of recycling, at home and at school.
